Great weather for painting and mocktails at our Graduate Student Appreciation Week Brush and Sip event! Masters of Fine Arts students led a painting session and grad students were able to take home their creations 🎨🍹#UTSAGSAW

I am so proud of my husband! He worked so hard to earn his #TenureandPromotion To be frank, he's the reason I am doing my own doctoral work on Latinx Faculty. The past 6 years on this journey hasn't been easy with 2 beautiful babies along the way, but we did it! I mean, you did!

It feels a little bit surreal that my Dissertation Chair has scheduled my pre-qualifying exam meeting with my committee. I am so proud of myself for reaching this huge milestone. I never thought growing up as a Low-SES, First-gen Latina, that I would be where I am now ☺️
