@Gloryneche1 God honors His words more than His name. Jesus said: not a jot of His words will go unfulfilled i.e..none of His words are useless as you affirm.
So..Whenever we find anyone insulting or standing against the word , we know he/she is not of God but standing with the Antichrist
@Gloryneche1 Beautiful scripture..leave the elementary principles of Christ...not destroy it, not downplay it or render it useless.. just leave them and move to perfection... recently, many if you have been coming out to stand against the scripture and the Lord by extension which is wrong..
“AFTER 28 YEARS AS A PASTOR, I NOW BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST IS NOT REAL AND HEAVEN DOESN’T EXIST.”
That statement should deeply concern every Christian.
Not simply because a pastor said it, but because of what such a statement does to the foundation of the Christian faith.
Imagine someone who has spent 28 years preaching Christianity eventually standing before people and saying that Jesus Christ is not real and heaven does not exist.
This is not a small theological disagreement.
This strikes at the very heart of the Gospel.
The Christian faith is not built on the idea that Jesus was merely a good teacher, a religious symbol, or a story created by people.
The entire Gospel rests on the reality of Jesus Christ—His life, His death, and His resurrection.
Paul wrote:
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:14
Think about that.
If Jesus did not rise from the dead, then Christianity collapses.
That is why this kind of teaching is dangerous.
Because when someone who has been regarded as a spiritual authority begins telling people that Jesus is not real, they are not merely expressing a personal opinion.
They can cause people to doubt the very foundation of their faith.
And this is why Scripture repeatedly warns us to test what we hear.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.” — 1 John 4:1
The Bible never tells us to believe something simply because it comes from a pastor, preacher, bishop, prophet, or theologian.
Test it against the Word of God.
Jesus Himself warned:
“Take heed that no man deceive you.” — Matthew 24:4
And Scripture tells us that there would be people who would depart from the faith and embrace teachings that contradict the truth.
So here is the question every Christian should ask:
What happens when the person who taught you about Christ later tells you that Christ was never real?
Will you abandon Jesus because a preacher changed his mind?
Or will you return to the Scriptures and examine what you believe?
Your faith cannot ultimately rest on a pastor.
It cannot rest on a denomination.
It cannot rest on a famous preacher.
It cannot rest on someone's testimony.
Your faith must rest on Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word.
Jesus said:
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” — Matthew 24:35
People can change.
Preachers can change.
Opinions can change.
But God's truth does not change.
So don't follow Christ merely because someone taught you about Him.
Know Him. Search the Scriptures. Test what you hear. And build your faith on the Word of God.
Because when the voices around you change, Jesus Christ remains the same.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” — Hebrews 13:8
✝️ Do not build your faith on a man. Build it on Christ.
@Gloryneche1 There's difference between the Jewish cleansing and water baptism... There's nowhere it is written that People doing it is just to suit their rights. And there's nowhere it is condemned. Simple.. let's stop where scripture stops.
@Gloryneche1 ALL these theories are misleading..
We know that a sinner is justified by believing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ no matter what they have done.. but saying NO believer can be IN SIN by the virtue of the resurrection "NO MATTER WHAT" is a great deception...
@Gloryneche1 This is why I said, just because it doesn't make sense or difference to you physically does not mean you should rubbish it. There's a reason to why it is done..and the safest place to be is to inquire about it from God as to why it is done not to come public to downplay it
@Gloryneche1 I've read those verses. I know what Jesus is talking about.I became filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues weeks after I became born again & did water baptism.Jesus isn't condemning water baptism. if he did, desciples won't baptize in Acts. Please share your experience.
@Gloryneche1 It's not a fight..but staying with the truth of God's word. Just because it doesn't appeal to our senses or make anyone superior doesn't mean we should rubbish it or downplay it.
In an attempt to sound knowledgeable, let's not begin to dive into error or found kicking against God
@Gloryneche1 I showed you what Paul himself said in the Bible.. take it or select what you want to believe.
Did Paul baptize or not? Yes he did.
Did he or anybody else in the Bible condemn or put an end to water baptism as you people are doing? No.. neither him or anyone else did..simple
@Gloryneche1 You’ve taken one statement from Paul and used it to condemn baptism, which Peter and Philip practiced in the New Testament. Yet Paul never condemned baptism. Peter even warned that some of Paul’s writings are hard to understand and can be twisted to our destruction2 Peter 3:15–16
