Insurance finally made a decision. They estimated 15k worth of damage and repairs need to be done. My claim only covers up to 10. So they pay that out, wipe their hands of it and I'm left to figure everything else out myself.

I hate to do this because I know other people need more than I do but I don't know what else to do at this point. My sewage pipe backed up this weekend and flooded my basement. Even if insurance covers it I have to come up with $1000 for a deductible.

If you want to, and are capable of donating, it would mean a lot. It's been a rough two years between burst pipes and car problems and everything else.

The sewer water was 6 inches deep, everything I had down there is ruined, and we had to call an emergency plumber to clear it.
