@tiddypills I picked "barely at all" but the real answer is literally 0. Just because I only play like a few times per year and it's just a social activity I do with friends I barely ever get to see. Winning's not important. I'd play a lot more if building decks on Arena was cheaper!
@tacotheking23 Isn't she only an "NPC" (dumb trope but whatever) if she's going along with everyone else? If that's the case, why single her out specifically? If that's not the case, then isn't she being an individual and thinking for herself? Even if you disagree, that's not "NPC" behavior.
@xaviersonline There must be something wrong with me because I see a lot of people being like "jimmy was a better brother but a worse person" and like. I must not have been paying enough attention or something because Jimmy just seems better? In every way? Maybe I should give the show a rewatch
@JennikaJoy I agree with you, but just to make your point more explicit, pleasant kenobi is the one saying the musician shouldn't put out the tip container. Professor soup is basically saying it's ok to put out the tip container at the beginning of your performance.
I really don't see the value in saying you shouldn't set up a way for people to pay you until after you've made stuff. Just say "temper your expectations and don't expect anyone to sign up for your patreon until you've shown commitment" etc would be fine, but this is a weird take
@reinout90 Well what @PleasantKenobi is saying is basically "street magicians shouldn't put out a tip jar until they've gotten a few performances under their belt," which... why? Someone can simply make a patreon in preparation for uploading a video, and if no one signs up, no one signs up
It's just so many words when I read it I just see "whenever *a* player" and "oh it's zada's ability again" without actually reading it and paying attention.
I went to an MtG draft a while ago because I just happened to walk past a game shop while people inside were playing commander and one of them had a deck I could borrow and then after the commander game a draft started. I could *plan* on going there to draft, *on purpose*
I really should get out more. "Ooooh the town I live in is so boring there's nothing to do here wah" I live within *walking distance* of a *train station,* I can just go other places so easily. I have very low energy and am shy so going out is daunting but like. I should!
@vorrenthalla mirrorwing scares me. what if an opponent hits it with a doomblade? Do you really need that redundancy with that big of a drawback if zada is in your command zone?
