@ColRichens Nice work!

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

@gundamaincattle Oh Tess.... and this was just one thing that went wrong?!

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

@AnthonyCloseKW @kurra_wirra Agree completely, merino ewes are excellent mothers, they just need to be well fed and cared for, makes sense for a livestock producer to ensure best animal husbandry. 😊👍

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

Hand feeding maiden ewes in preparation to start lambing next week.... gets them comfortable with our constant presence as we tag and weigh their lambs in the hours after birth. Our commitment gives the greatest accuracy to our ASBV’s; accurate birth date, weight and status.

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

@AnthonyCloseKW 2020 will be our 4th year collecting maternal score data, very valuable, have now removed from the stud any ewe who finds the intervention too challenging.

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

@svnoles @AustFarmInstitu Same question highly pertinent to the wool industry too.

[Aloeburn Poll Merinos @AloeburnPoll]

We hope they fill with barley too! 🤞

[Col Richens @ColRichens]
