Gwadar Port is the crown jewel of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a flagship infrastructure project that adds to Chinese and Pakistani capability to threaten India's energy security. The port is located in Balochistan, Pakistan largest province, which has been grappling with security challenges. Several recent incidents of violent protests and terrorism have been plaguing the port project.
