Here is how I viewed Q2. Like Berkshire, DocShah is a value investing firm.

Let’s use Charlie Munger’s principle of inversion. While everyone asks, "what will next quarter’s earnings be," I’d rather ask:

What has to happen for Hims not to grow the next year? And the year after that. And so on.

If that’s the case, three things would have to happen:

1. GLP-1 usage declines
2. International Expansion dies
3. No new products/services get launched

I find all three of those scenarios highly unlikely.

The EPS “miss” is just a function of scaling the business and the accounting that ensues as a result. Mix in some legal contingencies and you get (37¢).

The business became more valuable yesterday. What the stock price will do, I have no idea (and I don’t care). Everyday, as an investor you have a choice. You can focus on price or value. Before making your own personal decision, ask yourself what Charlie Munger would do.
