Nearly 1000 people to become Catholic in Portland!

In the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, where the Archbishop is Alexander King Sample, over 960 people will officially convert to Catholicism at this year’s Easter Vigil.

A Eucharistic procession led by Archbishop Anthony Fisher of Sydney. Fisher’s Go Make Disciples evangelization initiative, launched in 2020, seems to be successful as over 250 people from just 45 parishes will be received into the Catholic Church at this year’s Easter vigil. Anthony Fisher had been a well-known lawyer before embarking on his priesthood journey a few decades ago.
