Out on a ride on an 8 Tonne truck recently. 5 near miss incidents. Truck driver was super professional. Ute cuts in front from emergency lane, car cuts in on the inside after fast take off at lights, car right turn in front of truck at lights etc. #weneedspace. Good work @NHVR

I like this #roadsafety initiative from @NHVR. Also very important for drivers not to cut in front of trucks when exiting on ramps off freeways. Monash Freeway exit onto Eastlink heading to Dandenong is a classic example. #WeNeedSpace
