I just learned that it is apparently acceptable in Group Orders for the person running it to take money from individuals. Send out one single email for shipping payment and then if that email was missed…

Personally I think reselling the Group Order item is acceptable. Refunding only the price minus fees acceptable. But taking someone else’s money, only sending one email for second payment and then giving their item away for free to someone else and saying no refunds? Unethical.

This is your reminder to read the fine prints of Group Orders.

Taking someone’s money and not refunding, regardless how you word it in your rules is no different than a loophole to scamming.

I respect people who run GO but not in the way I have just experienced.
