@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Again, i have abstained from taking a stance on the mrekk vs zoink argument this whole thread. Im actually arguing about how youre making conclusions you cant prove or reasonably assume. See my other responses for more information
@Szymkx@SayatooSE@kipugge@mrekkosu How? If the evidence shows that two human beings can have vastly different peak reaction times due to genetic or early developmental differences, how are you supposed to conclude that a 19 year old has a better reaction time than a 14 year old? Its literally impossible
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu ? I dont understand why youre becoming hostile or combative. Not only have you not disproved my statement or shown how i am incorrect in calling out the flaw in your deductive reasoning, but youre clearly assuming i have a horse in this race. I have abstained from a position
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu My language was too imprecise, i specifically mean your source implies individuals do hit a general limit in their reaction time ability at a certain age. But again, that doesnt mean a 19yro will absolutely have a better reaction time than a 14yro. I thought that was obvious
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu ?? Firstly you have no evidence for the habits or objective average reaction time for either of these players, or if you have, you havent mentioned it. Secondly, like i mentioned before, i am not, and have not, taken a stance on this. I just called out the flaw in your logic
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Arbitrary in the sense that it can change before you reach complete mental capacity, and it can be different for different people due to biological reasons. Therefore a full grown person who has reached their hard cap can have a slower reaction time compared to a younger person
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Absolutely, but, like i explained in my other reply, an individual reaching their physiological peak when it comes to reaction time does not confirm that another individual, who can be significantly younger, does not have a better reaction time, as everyones hard cap is arbitrary
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Im specifically referring to when someone said zoink had a better reaction time than mrekk and had more free time when we was younger, to which you replied implying its impossible for a 14 yr old to have a better reaction time than a 19 yr old
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu The sources you mentioned assert that an individual gets hard capped as they get older, not that the hard cap for an individual’s reaction time is a constant that cannot be changed by improving the skill, which is why your conclusion doesnt follow from the premises
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Your claim was that the brain peaks at the ages between 24 and 25 and therefore its unreasonable to believe “a 14 year old has a better reaction time than a 19 year old”. The concept of improved skill acquisition at a young age contradicts that statement, hence my response
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu I never said reaction time was better, i claimed improving your reaction time is easier at a young age, which is the acquisition/improvement of a skill. I also was not arguing for a side, just correcting you
@SayatooSE@Szymkx@kipugge@mrekkosu Its pretty clear that gamers peak at a younger age tho, at least in “rhythm” or precision based games. Its easier to train things like muscle memory or reaction time (or even something as unrelated as languages) at a young age, giving players that start early and advantage
@KrewFamAva@gdzionk Well open src linux distros are already considered exempt due to technological limitations of forcing id verifications on completely open src code (needs to allow self signing and modifying the bios, etc). California and Colorado have already amended the bills to include this
My new level "Fiery Funk" is finally out. Took about 8 months to build it's around easy extreme. If you're a mod I'd appreciate a send to help me get my first creator points🙏
