I know, I know!

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

@RANGERHATRED @SignalIsCalling Panting, he'd watch as she hit the ground, de-morphing. Lowering his weapon, eyeing her intensely, but not with contempt and hatred like she was looking at him.

"I'll be waiting."

He'd speak, as she vanished in a flash of light.

@RANGERHATRED @SignalIsCalling -- the weapon with both hands as he took aim. A finishing attack.

"I'm sorry that I couldn't stop people from hurting you... But I won't let you inflict that hurt on others."

He'd pull the trigger; a large blast of crimson energy erupting forth: firing directly towards her.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

@RANGERHATRED @SignalIsCalling "I'll stop you from hurting anyone else... No matter what..."

He'd mutter, rotating the barrel of the Patroller Morpher to the side, then back to where it was. The Lights on the ID Vehicle flashing, energy beginning to gather around the barrel as he brought it up. Holding the --

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

But hey, at least you're looking good!

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

I get it, man. It's rough sometimes.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

My bad. I'm having a tough time not feeling nihilistic as of late.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

I'm trying to be positive, man.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

. . . Not really if you think about it.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

I mean. That's cool?

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

But I can time travel!

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

That's rough, buddy.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

Good thing you don't have my powers, then. I spend a shitload of money on food and can't get drunk.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

I think I'd end my own life if I couldn't.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

I hope you can get drunk, 'cuz I can't.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

I'm trying, man. I'm trying.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

Oh, definitely.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

Damn.

Wanna go for a drink?

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

Oh, nice. I was on a different team. They, uh... They died.

[Marcus Ripley. @AlphaPatrolOne]

... Shit, man. That's rough.

My best friend keeps trying to kill me for reasons I don't quite understand.

[—— 𝑭𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝑴𝘤𝑲𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 .ᐟ @COUNTINGMEDALS]

I ran into a girl that looks, sounds, acts and has the same profession as my dead girlfriend who reshaped who I am in both life and death. And I got a time-space abomination that absorbed my dead team's Dino Powers and wants to kill me.

Shit's great. You?
