‘27 RHP Nate McDowell (@BigMoeBaseball) was dialed in this start. Went CG/shutout, allowed 6 H, 1 BB & punched out 9. FB/4S opened 91-93 in the first frame. FB didn’t dip below 90 until the 5th. Finished @ 87-89 the last couple innings. SL was a weapon 77-80 (frisbee)/ high usage. Didn’t go to CB much in mid 7s. CH 79-81 w/ tons of fading action & has a chance. Extended later.. #PGHS

He was a stand out at our pro day as the only 2028 pitcher, holding 90-91 with 7' extension and showing potential for 2 above average off speed pitches.

Now up to 92 this spring while holding his velocity deep into games.

Top 5 in his conference for Wins, ERA and Strikeouts.

CB showed sweeping action @ 73-76 that generated a healthy amount of whiffs. CH had dive in the 81-82 range. Competitor on the mound & a notable name in a loaded ‘28 OH class. #PGHS @PG_OhioValley
