The beginning, the end, and the chaos in between.
A ghost that lingers.
"I guess he's just got one of those faces, you know? Like *reeeaaally* forgettable."
Take back the shit that's rightfully yours!
Don't let greedy companies steal from you!
There's no reason to allow this theft to go unchecked any longer.

Stop! Killing! Games!
#StopKillingGames
Today's the #StopKillingGames promotion day planned by the volunteers! I encourage people to make a post with that hashtag. I'm just following orders though, it's safe to label me as a boomer in regards to social media.
Apart from the faults of the industry, Valve didn't lock down component contracts beforehand, built it with abysmal performance, wouldn't take a loss, and most customers wont even get theirs for 1-2 years because of a fucking lottery system for reservations.
This feels like the beginning of the end of PC Gaming.
I was pretty excited to own one and recommend it for beginners, but now it just feels hopeless. I wanted to believe in Valve but they fucked up big time.

@gold_athena_@RubyofBlue It's good work, really nice to look at, and would go hard as a standalone animation. You guys are doing awesome work, I look forward to seeing how this cutscene ends up!
@gold_athena_@RubyofBlue These camera movements will stick out very jarringly amongst the rest of Halo 2's cutscenes. Halo 2's camera work is much more stiff and often cuts between angles, and uses very slight, almost lazily tracking, rotational movement. This is way too long of a single camera shot.
Controversial #gamedev take, but I hate modern game design and the "gameplay loop" mentality.
Too many developers nowadays focus on a gameplay loop like it's a mathematical formula for fun instead of just making something interesting and creative.
Everything's repetitive now.
I just want to make it clear: If you like this type of content, I think you're objectively stupid.
This isn't a bit, you're gonna end up contributing less to this planet than you take, and you probably lack the self reflection to realize it.
I think the issue is less about AI getting so good that it perfectly replicates people and more about how absolutely low people's standards for entertainment are.
AI channels are blowing up left and right using recycled clips and laughably generic scripts, and people eat it up.
@ShitpostRock Bethesda is a AA company marketed like a AAA company.
If Skyrim wasn't marketed as some pinnacle of AAA gaming, I wouldn't have much issue with it. But the fact that it outshined much more polished and fleshed out RPGs that came before it is just an insult to the genre.
@ShitpostRock It is a terribly made game, on an outdated clunky engine. Even for the time it was terribly made.
By all means you can enjoy it and say it's your favorite game, but it is by no means objectively a "good game".
If you have to mod it for it to be good, it's not a good game.
Man, all these years, all these ideas, so much popularity that comes and goes...
And yet all this time, it's funny to think that there still has never, EVER been another anime as good as Gurren Lagann.
