@onosowobo I think the confusion is arising because people are talking about emotion in general rather than specific emotions. You are absolutely right: men are allowed to be angry and immature while women aren't. At the same time, men aren't allowed to be vulnerable/sad while women are.

@SweatieAngle This is exactly why gender neutral should mean letting people do whatever they want, not making them behave like the "opposite" gender. Making a girl never play with dolls is like making them only play with dolls - either way it's reinforcing gender stereotypes.
