Hammond, on the other hand, feels like a fresh start, compared to Inglewood.

It once hosted the Olympics opening ceremonies and big concerts, but now it’s mostly for USC games.

The area around it declined after the Raiders and Rams moved away, the same around Soldier Field

Entertainers would probably choose a modern stadium like SoFi over an old Colosseum or Rose Bowl.

All that revenue and jobs are going to Indiana, leaving Illinois behind.
