On this basis, AlphaCares Health Foundation decided to donate items that will make life easier for the inhabitants of Okobaba Destitute Home to assure the beggars that their health also matters, and the foundation cares about their wellbeing.

In conclusion, humans' physical, mental, and emotional health can be greatly affected if they are denied of the basic amenities that are essentials to their existence.

They also happily disclose how the donated items will sustain them for a long time and make life easier for them.

The project director of the Foundation, Dr. Hamzat said "the inspiration to carry out the event is based on pure feelings to reach out to the indigents in the society". He appreciated the generous donors for their cash and kind donations.

The aforementioned items were gladly accepted and appreciated by the destitutes. They bitterly complained about how it has been quite difficult for them to survive in the country's current harsh economic condition.

The Street Feeding Project which was organized by The AlphaCares Health Foundation took place on 21st of August 2022 at Okobaba Destitute Home, popularly known as Beggars Colony in Lagos State.

Professor Adekoya was available to receive the items on behalf of the management and Dr Akinola was there in his capacity as the Chief Resident of the department to witness the donation.

Brand new examination couch to the triage of the department, and we converted 5 phototherapy machines from the conventional systems to LED systems. Also, we donated WELFARE PACKS to the patient through the hospital management.
