Take Your Time Matt❣️

[Variety @Variety]

“The Batman 2” has paused production as director Matt Reeves takes time to deal with personal matters.

“Production on ‘The Batman Part II’ has been temporarily paused while Matt Reeves focuses on a family matter,” a rep said in a statement. “Matt has the full support of DC Studios and we look forward to continuing the journey soon.”

The movie was originally set to open on Oct. 2, 2026, before Warner Bros. delayed it to Oct. 1, 2027. Then, in July, the studio pushed the film to February 2028.

The legendary Avenger's co-creator Jack Kirby passed away 32 years ago at 76 years old. Today would've been his 109th birthday 🕊️

Nicknamed “The King of Comics,” Jack Kirby helped create or shape characters and teams that eventually became the foundation of Marvel itself: the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Hulk, Thor, Black Panther, the Avengers, Doctor Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, and many more.

And when he moved to DC, he created an entirely new mythology with the Fourth World, introducing Darkseid, the New Gods, Mister Miracle, and others whose influence still reaches movies, animation, and comics today.

Some of his most important works include:
Co-Creator / Artist (Fantastic Four)
Co-Creator / Artist (Captain America)
Co-Creator / Artist (X-Men)
Co-Creator / Artist (The Incredible Hulk)
Co-Creator / Artist (Thor)
Co-Creator / Artist (Black Panther)
Co-Creator / Artist (The Avengers)
Creator / Writer / Artist — Darkseid & the New Gods (Fourth World)
Co-Creator / Artist — Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four)
Co-Creator / Artist — Galactus (Fantastic Four)
Co-Creator / Artist — Doctor Doom (Fantastic Four)
Co-Creator / Artist — Nick Fury (Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos)

Most artists hope to create one character people remember.

Jack Kirby helped create entire universes that Hollywood is still building movies around generations later.

Happy heavenly birthday to the King of Comics! 🎂

I was thinking about #MichaelWright & said he was a Denzel level of acting!!! The very few roles i remember him in were very impactful 💌
