Sunday was mostly a relax and rest day from building, but did get a few UX updates done to the Alphalog app.

The portfolio tab got a new layout and AI driven risk analysis added on page.

Things moved around on the research tab to make ticker search more intuitive.

Alphalog is getting to a place where most back-end work is done. Now it needs a front-end design touch to really make it all usable.

Getting back on the horse tomorrow for serious progress.

Build update for today!

Backtesting, trade replay's, and AI improvement will be a flagship feature set on Alphalog. They are now fully built.

The page looks gross though... UX needs a total overhaul. That's coming up next and should be interesting to fight through with Codex!

I also did an overhaul to how broker connections are made and synced.

The original build used a 3rd party provider that came with a $2 / user / month cost.

This is fine for early product release, but will seriously eat margin at scale.

To avoid that cost at scale, I built out direct broker connections for TastyTrade, IBKR, Alpaca, Schwab, and TradeStation.

Any other broker connection can still be made with the 3rd party connection. All are welcome!!

However, I believe the bulk of Alphalog users will come from the above brokers and can use direct connection.

Now the focus turns to overhauling a lot of UX to make things usable, polished, and intuitive.

I'm also exploring a license agreement with TradingView to integrate their charts into Alphalog.

Tons of cool stuff happening!
