@JakeParkerLIVE@PlayStation@Sony Not only this, I would reprise Wrath of the Machine and capitalize on the community's love for SIVA. Also do a red subclass to complete the darkness. I'd also try to bring the gameplay back to D1 a bit.. less ability spam and make guns better. Bring the D1 worlds back too.
@MallowTheQueen Now this, I very much agree with. I really do. I would just take a gamble of another studio hiring those people with passion and unclipping their wings if that makes sense.
@MallowTheQueen Yeah, and I can see your point on that. But its very clear that the passion they once had is something they no longer have. There's plenty of things Bungie could do to save Destiny and bring it back to its prime. They just won't do it. The leadership is too incompetent.
@TYPOGRAPH1C Marathon lost probably over 80% of its player count within a few months. Enough with the "not giving it a chance" nonsense. And they killed off the game barely beating it while it was in a severe content drought.
That's what needs to be studied.
Got this art commissioned of my Guardian awhile back during The Final Shape's launch... When I thought the Red Dark Subclass was gonna be a thing, haha.
Had a lot of good times in Destiny 2, I really do wish Bungie appreciated the times we all gave them.
So many hours and memories on this game from day one. I love it all... throughout the community from Zavalr to Aztecross.
I wish you all at Bungie respected our time the way we respected your work. May history never repeat itself like this again.
Thank you for the good times.

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
@Zavallr@DestinyTheGame@Bungie I'm glad you branched off and are becoming something greater. You were always one of my favorite Destiny players. Hope to go with you on your journey where ever it may go. :)
Portrait of Sire Alraeus 🌓
The idea was to make a portrait of a priest of light who became a priest of shadow after death. I suggested portraying a character with @Alraeus facial features. I liked this idea and was happy to make this portrait (✧ω✧)
Comm for @Alraeus :3
