Just some thoughts after a weekend of evals:
1. SHOT SELECTION. Pull up threes in transition are selfish shots about 90%. If you're taking it, you better be making it--consistently.
2. This is not the same as a transition three off of an advance pass—those can be quality shots!

As many of you know, I cover girls basketball on the side while also working a full-time job. This summer, I’d love to take time off of that job to cover the major tournaments in the area — but to make that happen, we’re launching something new. @riseupsports1

In addition to our usual free write-ups, we’re now offering a *reserved media option* — this includes photos, video, and detailed player write-ups — for a competitive cost. I wanted to keep the pricing affordable because I believe these girls truly deserve the recognition.

This *does not* mean we’re stopping free coverage. Our content is not hidden behind any paywall and it will remain that way this summer! We’ll be sharing the forms soon where you can reserve a media spot or submit your schedule for potential free write-ups (you can also scan QR code below). While we can’t promise we’ll catch every player that submits a schedule, we’ll do our best to see as many as possible.

I want to say a huge thank you to Tonia Witt, the owner and founder of Rise Up, who has been incredibly supportive in helping me brainstorm the ideas I bring to her (even if they seem a little crazy at times😂).
