Please read the entire thread before interacting. Every poster covers an important point regarding the boycott. 🧵👇🏻
Everything about this solo debut has already been confirmed for months now. Korean media outlets reported it, BELIFT LAB acknowledged the preparations, EVAN’s Weverse community was opened, and Heeseung himself confirmed it during his fan meeting in Japan. This is no longer speculation; the promotion cycle started a long time ago.
That’s why this boycott only works if people actually stop engaging. Companies track everything: streams, views, searches, reposts, edits, discussions, and overall online activity. Even “just one stream” or hate tweets still help push the release further through algorithms.
Negative attention is still attention. Fan wars, reaction posts, ironic memes, and nonstop discourse only keep the comeback circulating online.
If the goal is to make a statement, silence is far more effective than loud online chaos. No streaming, no unnecessary discussions, no official audio usage, and no feeding the same promotion cycle people claim to boycott. Low engagement and visible fandom absence will always speak louder.
