The grounds crew. The custodians. The scoreboard operator. The volunteers. The people dragging the field after everyone else has gone home.
In this game, nobody succeeds alone. Respect the people who make it possible for athletes to compete and families to enjoy the experience. A simple “thank you” still matters.
