Working with the WVU extension gardening program, students at Crossroads are seed starting and planting vegetables! Those plants will be transplanted in a garden in Milton to be harvested later in the summer for community farmer’s markets.

The Card Game of Life : Using playing cards, Mrs. Woods Biology students simulated the way alleles combine to create offspring with different characteristics. They did a great job!

Crossroads Academy students made healthy quesadillas in the Teen Cuisine cooking class! Thanks to WVU Extension service’s Heather and Kandi, and our Mrs. Wood for teaching the class. Our students did a great job and enjoyed making (and eating) their projects.
