@GabbbarSingh Doesn't the same logic apply to you and me as well? Every human has biases. That said, personal experiences helps people become more skewed in their views (leaning left or right). Frankly, I feel sad about the lack of civil debates in the world now - outcome - wars everywhere.

@GabbbarSingh It is easy to poke fun at them, but it's the family back home and the Indian media largely that created the pressure. They will still you that everything on the ground here is working very well, much better than India where we can see panic around basic things like LPG cylinders.

@GabbbarSingh Because they dont want unnecessary panic! Go and try finding a piece of debris after an hour and you'll feel that nothing ever fell there. The emergency reaponse system is amazing.

@GabbbarSingh Well.. there is lot less drama and fear here in Dubai than what Indian is making it out to be.. yes there are precautions one has to take, but thats it... government here works like magic...extremely efficient.. unimaginable in most countries.

@YakkStack A lot of introspection needs to be done on why the immigration policy went so horribly wrong. It just doesn't make sense for meritocratic and highly paid pros to move to Canada anymore. There's nothing in it for them. And these are the people who would've added real value.

@YakkStack Well, notwithstanding the freeloaders, a chunk of migrants came with teacher/doctor degrees but couldn't join the relevant workforce due to barriers to entry through the tedious licensing processes. My wife had become an insurance pro by the time she received a teaching license.
