@SHistorians@kclairerogers An entire generation of golfers have been raised on the same three or four viral golf meme pages. We’re now paying the tab for that
@Mike_kim714 I thought the same thing today. Like exactly. With a slight adjustment. Drivers should be back somewhere near a mini driver with a massive tee height restriction and a minimum loft around 13-14. 10 is a perfect number. Also makes walking easier
@Cam_Jourdan People don’t want the course too easy. What they hate even more is watching a replay of last years event on tv because play is suspended. Good on the usga.
@chantel_mccabe There’s a lot of simple solutions and simple realities about the LPGA tour that those in the know can’t really say out loud, especially on the internet. With that being said, If this weeks event was in Des Moines, IA I’d bet my life it would have been more heavily attended.
I love ball washers on the tee. I don’t care how uncool it is. They’re convenient. They work. I don’t care what the waters like, I’m not drinking it. Bonus, I get to feel like I’m 7 again and it was fun to use the corkscrew thing.
@BowTied_Golfer Volume and means certainly helps. Westchester CC year in year out produces some elite talent. They have great facilities and some exceptional teachers. Volume of membership helps. Smaller clubs, having one great player helps, friends tag along and it creates a better program
@SHistorians@Top100Rick Every public course in America puts national after their name as a joke. When it’s actually used properly now it takes some gravitas away
@BryanTweed16 Most of the broadcasts treat the golf with kid gloves. People are turned off by the LIV telecasts because they keep reiterating how great everything is. Rarely are there any criticisms. Once the WNBA embraced conflict, they started to jump off the page.
@99kate_smith I’ve seen a few clubs use a blatant AI logo and put them on their profiles in the past few months. It’s tough to take the operation serious after that. Golf designers are definitely known and sincerely not that hard to find.
