A few weeks ago we made a joke about eventually becoming a video game publisher.

We weren’t entirely joking.

What started as a small internal project has grown into something we’re actually going to release.

To that end the dev team is breaking off a separate company as a game studio. @AltHorizonGames

After years of rumors Antelope Hill secretly owns this or that company we have an official affiliate.

AHP will be the publisher and hopefully the resources and experience from this process with Alt-Horizon will lead to the concentration of knowledge and talent to publish games from other solo devs and studios in the scene.

As for the game itself. It’s still under wraps, but we’re close enough now that we need some outside eyes on it.

We’re looking for a small group, roughly 5–10 people, to join a private playtest group. If you can put in a couple hours a week playing builds, finding what’s broken, and giving us straight feedback on what works and what doesn’t, we want to hear from you.

As we cultivate a testing group we plan on making it into one of the resources we can offer devs to publish with us alongside marketing, engine and asset license funding, store front access and more.

This is new ground for us. We’d rather build it with people from this side of things than try to do it with strangers.
