Any approach that selectively highlights antisemitism and ignores displays of hate across society is doomed to fail.
My take on the NSW governments approach to antisemitism in the wake of the Bondi Massacre.
Minns protest bans, hate speech measures, target Palestine peace protestors but yet to focus on Nazis.

I can't get over what a massive admission this is. If we lived in a world where politicians and media cared about facts, THIS would be the headline story. "ANTI-ISRAEL ATTITUDES INCREASING, ZERO INCREASE IN ANTISEMITISM."
The pro-Palestine movement has been so successful in separating opposition to Israeli atrocities from hatred toward Jews that there has been zero increase in public hatred toward Jews throughout three years of genocide. That's an incredibly impressive achievement in activism and education regarding a mass atrocity we're always told is a super duper complicated issue that's almost impossible to understand.
This one fact, by itself, completely destroys just about every argument the hasbarists have ever made about the pro-Palestine movement. People who've been taking a stand against the Gaza holocaust have been absolutely impeccable with their messaging, taking great care to help the public understand the distinction between the religion of Judaism and the apartheid state of Israel.
If mainstream pundits and politicians actually cared about truth and morality, they would be falling all over themselves to apologize and correct the record on the narrative they've been pushing that the pro-Palestine movement is responsible for a surging epidemic of antisemitism in our society. They would be telling everyone that it turns out there is in fact no epidemic of antisemitism, and the pro-Palestine movement has conducted itself with saintly meticulousness in ensuring that hatred toward the Jewish faith gains no purchase within their ranks or their message.
But mainstream pundits and politicians do not care about truth or morality. They care about promoting the interests of a genocidal apartheid state, no matter how many lies they need to tell in order to do so.
This is why instead of seeing headlines about the Bell review's finding that there has been zero increase of antisemitism among British people, we've been seeing headlines falsely claiming that British schoolchildren are evil antisemitic Nazis who must be brought to heel.
People who support Israel are disgusting, manipulative liars, and the western political/media class are the very worst among them.
The wife of prominent Sydney Rabbi Yossi Friedman comments that say “No innocent people in Gaza and don't care at all what happens to any of them”.
This is Zionism, it is a racist and genocidal ideology!
@JB__Oz@StewartMills The entire Israeli government has always and will support the settlers, they are beholden to them.
Israel’s actions paint itself in a bad light, nobody needs to do anything for that.
@MartinFeathers2@tassiekaz I find that hard to believe! I’ve seen kids and their family harassed because their parents intervened in their participation with the NSN, numerous ex-gfs, it’s quite obvious, but you can’t criticise it because you are in a cult.
@JB__Oz@ForbiddenFleurs Lmao, so then you can’t attack Palestinians because it will make them turn away from listening to the world yeah or is this another of your racist double standards?
@JB__Oz@StewartMills Tell me all about the E1 settlement project described by its architect Smotrich as designed to kill a Palestinian state?

@Ostrov_A@suzangiuliani@dailytelegraph Here is the former leader of an Australian Jewish group celebrating the ethnic cleansing of an entire Palestinian village.
Indeed, how can Jewish extremism not be a similar worry?
@MartinFeathers2@tassiekaz If it’s not a cult why are members, or partners of members and their families threatened, harassed, doxxed if they decide they want to leave?
I understand that this binational state is popular with some theorists as it is with you.
However there are 2 major flaws:
1. Neither Israelis or Palestinians want this outcome.
2. Being a Jewish minority in an Arab country has not worked well for Jews and is a risk that Israelis will never take.
So that pretty much leaves a two state solution as the only viable alternative.
The question is how to achieve that.
My view is that we need to move away from the conventional concepts of what a nation state is.
@JB__Oz Judaism and Islam are religions, Zionism is a political ideology made up of mostly Christians so no it’s not like that at all.
You notice how you didn’t disagree with them though.
