On the very day the Government of Canada appointed two new members to its Advisory Council on Rights, Equality and Inclusion—which Prime Minister Carney tasked with leading a whole-of-government effort to combat antisemitism—one of the federal government's own taxpayer-funded museums is launching a controversial "Nakba" exhibit that risks exacerbating Canada's antisemitism crisis.
As the Council works to align federal policies to better protect Jewish Canadians, the government must also prevent its own institutions from being weaponized to promote divisive political narratives that fuel hatred and violence.
This should start immediately with the Heritage Minister demanding accountability from the @CMHR_News' CEO and board. How can the museum's leadership be allowed to continue when they egregiously failed to uphold integrity, impartiality, and public confidence?
Watch closely new video showing the U.N. reaction: as courageous former hostage Ilana Gritzewsky confronts October 7th denier Reem al-Salem—by recounting the horrific abuse she suffered from Hamas—the U.N. rapporteur on violence against women sits there stone-faced. No empathy.
“One side conducts legal reviews, proportionality assessments, civilian warnings, and precision strikes against military objectives. The other is an international designated terrorist group that intentionally places military assets among civilians while deliberately targeting civilians.” @SpencerGuard
International false moral equivalency is lethal, emboldening genocidal terror & tyranny - for whom human tragedy is the strategy.
Douglas Murray on the Iran Deal:
“The issue with the present MOU is not whether the Iranians fear Trump.
It is that they look set to receive the funds and freedom to survive and then weapons-develop another day.
When Trump first sent the B-2 bombers to Iran, he was fulfilling a historic mission: to ensure not only that the Iranian regime could not create a nuclear weapon on his watch, but that they could not create such a weapon on any successor’s watch.
After all, as the president knows, there can always be another Obama, Biden, or even Kamala Harris in the future.
That’s the good thing about agreements that aren’t worth the paper they’re not even written on. The Iranians won’t take it seriously. Neither should we.”

Read this MP's statement:
The details revealed by Toronto Police today are deeply disturbing. Police allege that anonymous actors are recruiting young people through encrypted messaging apps, paying them to carry out shootings targeting sites of Jewish life, including synagogues, Jewish schools, and the U.S. Consulate following escalation in the middle east.
To receive payment, the shooters are reportedly required to film their crimes. This is unprecedented and terrifying.
We still do not know who is directing these attacks. Whether this is organized crime, domestic terrorism, an international terror network, or some combination of the three, one thing is clear: the threat facing Toronto’s Jewish community is serious, organized, and unacceptable.
.....
The reality is that nothing Mayor Chow, Premier Ford, or Prime Minister Carney have done so far has been enough to stop this escalating campaign of hatred and violence.
The Jewish community has endured repeated attacks, threats, and acts of intimidation, and now police are describing coordinated networks paying young people to carry out shootings on their behalf.
This demands an unprecedented response. All levels of government must come together with law enforcement and community leaders to develop and implement a coordinated strategy to identify those directing these attacks, disrupt their networks, protect vulnerable institutions, and keep people safe.
The question Ontarians should be asking is simple: what are our leaders going to do now? ....

The optics of foreign interference in the controversial 'Nakba' exhibit is not a good look for the embattled museum

If the Iranian regime strikes Israel again, I sure hope we won’t be told not to defend ourselves or to retaliate.
And if we’re told, I hope we will do what’s right for Israel.
When you’re attacked, you defend yourself. Plain and simple.
UN whistleblower warns: UNRWA staff fired for Hamas terrorist links may likely be receiving $50,000 each as “termination indemnity.”
We are calling on all UNRWA donor states—Germany, UK, France, Canada, Australia Netherlands—to ensure that not one more penny goes to terrorists.
Respectfully, Const. Marc Pinizzotto was murdered. Allegedly by someone connected to the terror shooting attack in US consulate and other targets including a synagogue
