On the day of #Christmas, the Christians remind each other about Allah having a son:

ʿUmar set the calendar according to the hijrah and did not set it according to the birthday of the Prophet ﷺ as the Christians did, in order to teach people that we are an Ummah of action, not an Ummah of eras and events.

It’s impermissible to congratulate a Christian for the lie of the birth of a son of God, even if he congratulates you for the Eid of Islam, because Allah’s rulings are not interchangeable. You’re not allowed to glorify an idol simply because an idolator enters the masjid with you

Almost all of the earlier and later Christian priests and historians agree that the birth date of the Maseeh (Messiah) was officially chosen after the third century, and that this selection was meant to be symbolic and not the precise date of his birth.

The actual birth date of the Masih is unknown, and the dispute regarding it is known between the Orthodox and Catholic Christians till today. They were unable to preserve their book from alteration, so how could they preserve the birth date of he who brought their book (Jesus)?

❷ It is permissible to marry the daughter of your father’s murderer, but just as you would never accept her joy on the anniversary of his killing, you would never accept her joy over the birth of a son for Allah Almighty.

Wishing Christians a #MerryChristmas is not permissible by unanimous agreement of the Four Madh'habs. I do not know of an opposing view in this matter except in recent times, and they are views that are insignificant.
