You often can tell by their tone and body language on whether they're actually concerned or crossing a line.

Each person is different, no two men are the same, no two women are the same. Thus, I find the division of sexes to reference who is 'more at fault' erroneous.

Women lean on emotions, men lean on reasoning, as the stereotype goes. Having both is better.

It most certainly is multi-factorial, but I wouldn't be surprised if it boils down to decreased attention span.

The fact we want things instantly versus waiting is a likely cause.

Would you agree things like open communication, honesty, loyalty, understanding, etc. is good for a relationship? If 'yes', then call it 'consideration'.

As for effort, I meant 'to make a relationship work'.
