Words are not violence. When you pretend that views that oppose your own are violence, you are justifying the use of actual violence towards the speaker.

If I’m in a restaurant and I see someone who has different political views than I do - perhaps I deem their views so “radical” or “dangerous” that they make me “feel” uncomfortable, I have choices.

I can choose to suck it up and stay, or I can choose to let my “feelings” get the better of me and leave.

What I don’t have the right to do, is ask the establishment to remove the other person because of different opinions.

There are people out there - well known individuals - who support a movement and ideology that wants to destroy me, my family and my race. They contribute to the incitement of hate against me when the create and spread lies and propaganda about the war in Gaza and avoid Israel and Jews.

And if I see them out in public, I can stay, or I can leave.

Despite our different political believes or thoughts on a war or support for a death-cult, we both have the right to be there.

When Hawksmoor made the decision to remove @TRobinsonNewEra and his group from their restaurant, they denied them that right.

They can say all they want that it wasn’t about “politics” or “beliefs”, but that’s exactly what it was about.

It was about Tommy’s politics and beliefs vs the politics and beliefs of the patrons who said they “felt” uncomfortable.

It was - once again - about the world denying someone’s rights, because they’re so focussed on capitulating to people’s “feelings” that they lose sight of right and wrong.

When did people’s feelings become more important than other people’s rights, and how do we get back?
