Peniwallet is a crypto wallet that lets you send coins to lots of people at once. The team wants to add Pi Network so users can hold and send PI in the same app.

Normally, when they add a new blockchain, they just use your existing secret recovery phrase to create your wallet on that chain. You don’t have to do extra setup.

Pi doesn’t work that way. It’s more closed-off. You usually have to use Pi’s own official app, and you can’t easily create a Pi wallet from a normal recovery phrase like other chains.

That’s the problem they’re trying to solve. If they can’t make it fit smoothly, they might build a separate Pi-only app or add a special Pi section inside Peniwallet.

They’re tired today and will talk about the options tomorrow. No date yet for when (or if) it will actually launch.
