@MTW2478 Approximate 81 per cent of goods exported to the U.S. from Canada were compliant with CUSMA and hence zero tariffs. With CUSMA gone, they will ALL be subject to the EU tariff rate. That is going to have a huge affect in the long term.
@talliwagger It means you are awarded with opportunity to send them lots of money and accept their immigrants...oh, and pay EU tariff rates on everything you send to the US
@gator_gum That's not an investment in Canada...it's a purchase of a Canadian company that now changes hands to become a US company. Jeez dude...just get a HUGE investment by selling all of your oil and gas producing companies to the US.
@CathySt35873400 USMCA (CUSMA) is completely incompatible with EU regulations. The US was hoping to make USMCA go away and Carney just pulled it off for them. All of those un-tariffed items (virtually everything traded with US) will now get tariffed at EU rates. The US isn't really upset.

@MarcNixon24 Because the Chinese want them... Looks like Canada doesn't have anyone qualified to organize his summit so he had to hire an outside country (USA) for that too https://t.co/XnUzpuk4dO
