@shadeiq759 @glorpinity Plenty of people cared but people were waiting on the new seasonal update (That got delayed mind you) that hopefully would have fixed a lot of the issues the game had ever since being introduced in Edge of Fate (portal etc.) but instead we got hit with an EoS announcement.

@Musky_EXE @DarfZay Had they ended the game with Final Shape which ended the big saga D1 and D2 were based on and released this update then, I doubt people would have batted an eye. But they kept going with mediocre content and now culling the game in the midst of a new story they were telling.

@Gamehero24 @DarfZay For most the game ended with Final Shape cause everything that came after was just so substandard it wasn't worth playing. But even then people didn't want the game to end, they wanted Bungie to step up and fix their shit but it felt like yelling into the void so apathy set in.

@Gamehero24 @DarfZay Cause management was fucking awful and we were being sold slop while they focused most of their efforts on Marathon. Between the portal, the subpar story and such there was nothing much fun about the game so of course people weren't playing.

@shadeiq759 @SynthPotato People had always been trying to get D2 back into a better place since ever since the launch of EoF, the gameloop and overall experience became just awful. Not like people wanted the game shut down, they wanted Bungie to step up and fix all the tedious shit they introduced.
