Marceline has a big day today. While I am very excited to have her home tonight, she was rescued from California, which is a long trip to Washington state for such a small girl.

She is going from a painless, joyous life with her siblings to being fixed yesterday, getting stitches, and then leaving the only home she has ever known to her forever home with us.

She will meet my dogs for the first time, which is always stressful. She doesn't know them or my house, and I feel for her today.

I am excited to give her a loving home and a great family to join, but I know how wild today will be for her.
