@LizWebsterSBF@1030pa@gmpolice Not showing any of the previous ‘other clips’ shows you are tragically biased as we see no footage of the entire incident. Ridiculous! 😑🙄
This guy gets it... It's not personal...
We ALL know and agree Rashford has had his problems off the pitch, which have several impacted his performances on the pitch during the last 18 months.
I'm 100% convinced that is what Ruben is talking about.. the lifestyle.. the entourage.. (not so much the training) but the impact those external factors have on his training and performances...
Ruben is making it so simple for him, fix your lifestyle, fix your focus, sort your head out and you are welcome to play for Man Utd.
It's sooooooo refreshing hearing this interview, Ruben gets it. He's not Jose, he's not Ole and he's certainly not stupid. He knows we are much better off with a fit and focused Rashford.
He knows Rashford has needed an intervention for the last 2 years and now finally we have a manager that's drawing a line, not pandering to Rashford and is telling him straight.
Sort your shit out and you are in..
Don't and your out..
He's needed this talk / stance for a while.
There is no hate between Ruben & Rashford.. deep down i believe Rashford knows Ruben is right and trying to help him. Its not personal, its business, it's standards ON and OFF the field.
I'm fascinated to see how this plays out. I respect Ruben for taking this stance and giving Rashford every opportunity to prove it, to want it and to earn his spot in the team but insisting he has to be 100% committed - not 70%, not 80% or 90%.. Rashford has to be 100% in, or this won't work.
It seems Rashford has the biggest decision of his life to make and he probably has to make it in the next 4 days 🙏
For many, it may seem that all is lost and its done but I'm not so sure... If Ruben can break the mould, break the uninterested routine we've all seen, we could have a world beater on our hands....
Either that or Rashford throws in the towel and we all move on.. I will wish him all the best, no hard feelings, just disappointed it ended like this.
Huge 4 days coming up in this window. Surely, this won't drag on for another 6 months.... I'm not sure i can take much more of Fabrizio's game by game commentary of Rashfords omission 😂
Luke Shaw being injured again is not about us or our disappointment anymore. It's about him. He is the victim here. We must support him as a human being. For once let's think about what the player is going through when he is described as feeling "broken" about his body.
Don't worry you've cracked enough burger jokes already about him so if you pass on this opportunity to crack another unfunny joke about him, we won't think you've lost your funny touch.
And no, terminating a contract when someone is injured is the vilest thing to do. It's like a labourer injured in a factory and has life long complications and the company terminates his contract when they should have been supporting him. Those asking for a termination now are vile.
He is suffering a life of pain and will probably never recover fully because he put his body on the line for our club.
Manchester United owes it to our principles and future reputation to stick by him and see him through whatever he needs. Help him recover and then with mutual respect part ways or don't renew if that's the conclusion. Penny-pinching cheapness isn't worthy of our great club.
I remember where I was when I watched the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth and how I sat stunned at the end. One of the best pieces of tragicomic writing ever, in any form; worth another look today of all days.
