@BlackZecter No NL hate at all. I don't think he did anything wrong and being new to a fighting game obviously you're not gonna know the jargon and stuff. I think the overly aggressive reactions from quote retweets are just a little overboard.
All the retweets of this being like "Numpad notation is disgusting and how dare you try and use numpad notation with somebody who is new to fighting games. The fgc is the WORST and needs to really look inwards and change from numpad notation because it's not beginner friendly!" When like seconds before this clip starts, somebody had just said "M>H>forward H" and he still said "What the fuck does that mean?"
I'm just saying he didn't parse either version. And the fact that you thought H was high when it's heavy just shows further how numpad notation isn't really the problem. M>H>Forward H in numpad is just M>H>6H. When getting into Tekken, which notates things with f for forward and u for up and such, the attack buttons itself were all notated 1, 2, 3, and 4 and I had absolutely 0 clue which was which. It took me about 5 minutes to learn. I just think the people quote retweeting the original tweet acting like fighting game players are elitist for saying 236A instead of quarter circle forward light is an extreme take lol.
