A work stained 66304, just changed over from 66737, on today’s 6s45 Alcan descending Glen Douglas bank to Arrochar in between sleet showers.
At least someone’s wiped the front number.

One last time
The final departure from North Blyth Alcan Terminal for the 2 axle PCA wagons. These are to be replaced by overhauled Bogie JPA powder tank wagons.

Alvance British Aluminium’s Fort William smelter has increased sales to the US under the new #Tariffs.
Tom Uppington, managing director of @AlvanceBA , said: “The shift in tariff structures has allowed us to strengthen our #market position and extract more value from our output."
UK smelter @AlvanceBA British #Aluminium has entered a 10-year leasing agreement for the supply of 20 4-axle powder tank wagons.
The wagons will replace a fleet of 2-axle models and will nearly double the payload capacity per trip between Blyth, UK and the Lochaber #smelter.
Sky's @EdConwaySky visits the Alvance aluminium plant in Fort William, Scotland. It's the last aluminium plant in UK – powered by a hydroelectric dam – and it's been running since 1929.
