Genocide of Palestinians in Gaza continues - via various l means incl allowing spread of diseases/preventing their prevention/treatment. All enabled by an intl community & mainstream media that have decided Palestinian lives simply don’t matter enough to even pay attention.
Deeply disturbing reports from @PHRIsrael on the condition of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a Palestinian physician held in Israeli detention without charge for 18+ months. His lawyer reported fresh bruising, injuries, and difficulty breathing and is concerned his life is in immediate danger.
Scandalous.
18 months in arbitrary detention. No charge. No evidence. Torture attested by his lawyer, marks visible on his body.
And instead of covering this, @BBC amplifies Israel's unproven claims casting doubt on a hostage doctor.
>BBC's journalism in the time of genocide.
EuroMed Rights is alarmed by reports that Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger following his lawyer’s recent prison visit. Arbitrarily detained without charge since 27 December 2024, he must be immediately removed from the Rekafet underground security facility and granted an independent medical examination. Every moment counts. The international community must act now.
Today marks 1,000 days since Israel began its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, destroying an estimated 90% of the territory and killing over 73,000 Palestinians. EuroMed Rights condemns Israel's continued impunity, including its repeated ceasefire violations. The EU must suspend the EU–Israel Association Agreement, impose a comprehensive arms embargo and implement its obligations under the ICJ's Orders and Advisory Opinion.

🚨Today marks 1,000 days of genocide in Gaza. In this video we show ten of Israel’s most well-documented crimes
They're far from the worst atrocities they committed, but together they paint a clear picture of the brutality, deception & impunity that have allowed them to continue
🔴The IDF's Yellow Line in Gaza has shifted again, despite the so-called "ceasefire." Since it came into effect, the IDF's effective control has expanded from 53% to up to 70% of the Gaza Strip. Almost all of Gaza’s population is forced into less than a third of its territory🧵

The ʿAsʿus family was about to sit down for dinner when they heard gunfire from the street. Everyone rushed to take cover. Two-year-old Layla was sitting in her mother’s lap when a bullet struck her in the head. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The shooters were Israeli soldiers who had were carrying out a raid in a neighboring home in the village of Muthallath a-Shuhada in Jenin District, on 25 January 2025.
Layla is one of 54 children and teens killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2025. Our new report, Unshielded Childhood, released this week, tells their stories and the circumstances that led to each of their deaths.
Since October 2023, Israel has killed 241 children and teenagers in the West Bank, the highest number of Palestinian minors killed there since the territory was occupied in 1967. This is the result of an Israeli policy that enables and backs the killing of Palestinians, without anyone being held to account.

A Scottish fan chanted, "Free Palestine."
"I was a nurse in Gaza. I volunteered in Gaza. I’ve seen what happens. There is a genocide. Free Palestine."
She's a hero.
It is powerful to see other arbitrarily sanctioned legal professionals acting against this outright persecution and full-on assault on int'l justice. I hope their ordeal will end sooner than mine.
I am proud my family pioneered all this, even if the cost is extremely high.
