The mayor and his GOP Supermajority have failed us once again. There’s $185,000 in ARPA funds through the state of CT that Danbury could have and can use to improve Senior Center facilities and programming and we haven’t touched it let alone asked for it.

A lot of you got a text message from the Mayor today that frankly made many of us laugh and question his math… The taxes on our house went up 10.5%, and I know many others who went up even more, so sorry Mr. Mayor, but you did NOT lower taxes. Just another Bait and Switch.

When property values go up, so do taxes. The Mayor would make us believe that taxes are going down. Not true…
The truth, he failed to delay the implementation or phase-in of 2022 property revaluations, so he’s disingenuously trying to make it look like taxes won’t go up.

There is nothing ok w/ Danbury Republican’s blatant attempt to gerrymander their way to more power. Their shamefully proposed map fundamentally changes our voting districts
