Ed shoves a million with 8-7, Mads folds pocket 9s, and Daniel calls with ace highโฆ
Be honest, would you make this call for a million? Or is Daniel the only person alive who calls here?
@CrazyVids Even when he had the best hand on the flop he STILL managed to get out turned, Phil might be the best and worst running player in poker history๐คฃ
Postlegate: the biggest poker scandal of the livestream era ๐งต
Picture this:
Stones Gambling Hall, near Sacramento. A low-stakes livestream game. And one player, Mike Postle, who almost NEVER seems to make a wrong decision.
Perfect folds. Perfect hero calls. Perfect bluffs. Between 2018 and 2019 he reportedly won around $250K on the stream.
In September 2019, commentator Veronica Brill went public: something wasn't right. She posted an 18-minute video of his most suspicious hands, and within days the story was on ESPN's SportsCenter.
Then it got CRAZY:
โข 24 players filed a $30 million lawsuit, which grew to 88 plaintiffs
โข Postle sued a dozen people, including Daniel Negreanu and Phil Galfond, for $330 MILLION in defamation
โข In 2020 a judge dismissed the players' case against him
โข Most of the players settled with the casino side
โข Postle's own lawsuit fell apart, and courts ordered him to pay legal fees to Brill and Todd Witteles
No criminal charges. No conviction. In 2022 the last of the cases was closed through his bankruptcy.
So what do you think? Greatest heater ever, or the biggest scandal poker has ever seen? ๐

A guy at a poker table offers you a $100 even-money side bet before the flop:
"If a Jack, 7, or a 2 hits the flop, yo pay me $100, and if none of them hit, i pay you $100."
You get 10 ranks, he only gets 3.
Are you taking the bet? Let's take a look at the most notorious "sucker bet" in poker:๐๐๐
