During January and August you can take a tour of the apt Elvis and his family lived in. The other months they rent it out to guests who are visiting Memphis.

@HermanoMotheo This is the housing project where Elvis and his parents lived in Memphis when he was a teenager. I took this picture during my visit a few years ago. His family struggled financially until he was 21 years old.

@_smthbtful Best to stay at Graceland guest house. There are a few restaurants there. A short walk to the mansion. Marlow's is a good BBQ place. They pick u up in a pink Cadillac. Visit sun studios. Take the guided tour to Tupelo to see Elvis birth place. Visit Graceland site for tour option
