@MissEroskey I couldn’t tell you the last time I commented (?) on Twitter. But this will bring me out of my lurk-y shadow! These pictures are sooooo good and you’re completely gorgeous!! Stunning!! 😍😍 Congratulations!! Enjoy 😊💕
@MarcieLondonArt (Alongside the “that is not a weakness, that is life” I’ve already seen a lot.)
Data: “I would gladly risk feeling bad at times, if it also meant that I could taste my dessert.”
@Marina_Sirtis - I’m putting a just-woke-up picture of myself on the internet to thank you sincerely for helping my sweet husband pull off the coolest Mother’s Day gift ever! I ❤️ Deanna, and I ❤️ following you on Twitter, and I ❤️ my precious family! 😭🥹💕
@MeatballNonner@kyuucontinuum Me too, but when Troi gives Picard “the look,” and he assures her he’s all right, but obviously an empath knows better. That got me! And when she chewed him out later. Also, cried through much of Monsters, OOF! Love this series!
@jonathansfrakes Thanks! I’m a t1 diabetic (and Trek convert, courtesy of my husband) - when we were on a high-deductible insurance plan, my insulin for ONE month was going to be over $12k. Had to settle for a less good but cheaper insulin. Only $800+. And this was 10yrs ago.
@johnmsan@RepSpanberger So we called my doctor and got a different prescription for another type of insulin, which is less effective for me, and to which I have a mild allergy. But it *only* cost us $860 per month until we met the high deductible. It was crushing. 2/2
@johnmsan@RepSpanberger Insulin pumps and CGMs *are* expensive, yes. But they make a huge difference in quality of life and preventing complications. When we were on a different insurance plan years ago, we went to pick up my insulin and were told it would be $1300. 1/2
@missmalindakat And - darn - when she’s filled up the new pot and needs to go up another couple of inches, you’ll have to get a new plant for the 6”. 😆😍🪴
@missmalindakat Typically, you should only go up two inches or so at a time. :-) The House Plant Hobbyist group on FB has been an awesome resource for me! I just discovered the joy of houseplants over quarantine. Here’s my monstera, Leia!
@rebekah_starks@MarinaSirtisFan @Marina_Sirtis I did this with my Silhouette, but I can convert it and put it on Zazzle when my kids are down tonight 😄
I saw this on a yard sign @Marina_Sirtis posted, and couldn’t find the source online... so I made my own 😄 Leadership and empathy sure sound nice. #VoteLikeAnEmpath
@gradydoctor had written that she had to spend half an hour with me and that I was overly emotional and a bunch of other things that told me her compassion was an act and made me decide to never open up to a new provider again. So if you ask, be prepared to care about the answers. /2
@gradydoctor I cried in front of a new endo NP once... stress from parenting 18mo twins, anxiety/depression/PTSD, trouble with extended family... later, a different provider accidentally printed the subjective notes from that visit where I cried. That NP had seemed compassionate but /1
@BradRLovell@LakotaDistrict I’m the chronically ill wife of someone who teaches in a Lakota building. I do not feel cared about. https://t.co/lU6FWNG2uM
@noraborealis My son says “a libble lit” instead of “a little bit” and I’ll for real bawl when he fixes it. But I’m pretty sure the rest of us will use it forever 😄
