The Doors were out in downtown LA shooting promotional material and gatefold artwork for the band's upcoming album masterpiece, Morrison Hotel.
After sneakily snapping the iconic cover photo inside the hotel's front window, the guys piled back into their car and drove around looking for more interesting backdrops. They ended up passing a local junk shop and spotted this bright green mannequin. On a whim, they bought the pieces, split them up among the band, and walked down the block to a local dive bar called the Hard Rock Cafe. This exact frame was shot right against the bar's exterior brick wall!
Two of Colonia Middle School’s shining stars were honored last night with volunteers appreciation awards from Mayor John McCormac! Thank you and congratulations Juliana Massimino and Ms. Mortagua. 💫⭐️
