@paulhannaford You're doing amazing and vital work Paul, you're one of very few people who understand the pathways, pitfalls and end games of what faces kids today or there.
Us coppers only usually see the aftermath, too late more often than not.
Keep being you mate πͺπ»
@Dominic2306 As always little Dom here talking bollocks. His interactions with the MoD are legendary - still a few pinned to walls and titled "When MegaMind though he knew what he was talking about"
You were a total joke, even your signal hack was amateur hour and you didn't even realise it
@blahblaaahblaaa@N0TINSERVICE Oh absolutely resources are an issue, they already are but it can be achieved I think if there's a will to do so.
It's a case of over 70's automatically having their licenses removed and then those wanting to carry on driving applying for a retest.
@N0TINSERVICE@blahblaaahblaaa I quite enjoy offering myself up to retesting in anything I think I've lost my edge in, rather rewarding to have an instructor compliment you and eye opening to be told where you're sub par
@blahblaaahblaaa@N0TINSERVICE No arguments on either point really but there is a good portion of the drivers out there who genuinely couldn't pass a retest even though they're a regular driver.
Speed awareness courses achieve virtually nothing, time for harsher measures.
@blahblaaahblaaa@N0TINSERVICE Good, conscientious drivers will sail through, the problem ones will fail and rightly so.
Being tested once in your life gives you no right to have control of tons of metal at upto 70mph around others.
@blahblaaahblaaa@N0TINSERVICE Then we differ as do many of your former colleagues, people get complacent and dangerous within 5-7 of driving, it becomes obvious and should be retrained out of them.
A psychological test should also be introduced as part of the theory block.
@zatzi Jeez another fake Christian Tory wanting instant resignations.
Your lot ran down defence and policing continually for the last 14 years and now you conveniently blame everyone else.
Your BROTHER hated defence and wanted even deeper cuts and closer ties to his darling US mates.
@Nolberto099@ramonagusta@BenWallace70@AlistairCarns@JuliaHB1 Except the Chinese embassy plans were approved by Tories then changes forced by Labour, not great changes but changes all the same.
Thanks for trying to blame Labour though, good try.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox Start actually taxing large companies like Amazon, Google, Starbucks etc rather than accepting their "we employ so we shouldn't be taxed" bollocks.
Micro transaction taxes on the city traders would also bring in a decent amount.
Foreign aid paused for 5 years.
@Mr_Andrew_Fox Treasury Reform is the first step, they've got too much power to block any changes, firstly in their own department.
Pausing all of net zero is a huge mistake, certainly scrapping the crazy CCS scheme as even us environmental types know it's crap.
Directly tax fossil extractors
