Oregon fans, welcome to my profile.
Stay a while & you just MIGHT learn something about football. It’s clear that thousands of you don’t.
Not surprising, though, given how dumb your politics are in that state.
I do like your helmets. The big 0 for 0 championships is neat.
@bee1255@rfoxx089 Also, and this isn’t just this specific situation, why do we see college QBs slide with all their forward momentum still in tow? NFL QBs, for the most part, just drop and don’t slide an additional 6-7 yards.
Moore looked like he was trying to steal second base on that slide.
If you think this is a dirty play then you’ve been conditioned to believe every violent collision in football is dirty.
There is MAYBE 0.2 seconds between when the QB starts his slide and the defender makes contact.
This shouldn’t even be a penalty if we’re being honest.
@bizzy5454@golfenjoyer445@CPowers14 Bro what are you talking about? You’re having a whole ass conversation in your head and then acting like I’m a part of it.
@bizzy5454@golfenjoyer445@CPowers14 When these events change to a 72 hole singles format then sure.
But that’s not what this is.
JT won three points and dominated his match play on Sunday.
There’s a reason he’s still a snap choice. He’s one of the best ever in these events.
@timttmtaylor@MooneyOwnsYou@afewcrayons 2.5 yards is 8’. Both players running near full speed. Let’s say 17mph, which is 25FPS, so 50FPS combined speed.
at a distance of 8’ that’s 0.16 seconds.
That’s literally the blink of an eye.
Enough of this bullshit that he has plenty of time to react.
@ItalianNIrish The defender was lowering for contact at virtually the same time as the ball carrier. Screen shots confirm this.
There’s 0.2 seconds between the time the ball carrier initially starts the slide and contact.
Go to your stopwatch and start/stop on 0.2 and tell yourself you can
@lite__work 3. At 16 MPH (which is fair) that’s 46 FPS combined. At 10 feet they are meeting each other in 0.213 seconds.
4. Assuming the defender immediately reacts at the instant the QB starts his slide, that’s 0.213 seconds.
Go to your stopwatch and start/stop to 0.2 seconds.
@RCasparriello Thousands of idiots in my mentions confirms that.
And there is an overwhelming theme. They are letting his post-play classlessness blend with the actual play itself. They are too simple minded to separate the two events. Truly astounding how dumb our society has become.
