If Hela had really outgrown Mjolnir by the time of Ragnarok, crushing it was an unnecessary flex that only makes sense if she couldn’t actually wield it herself. Those palace murals showing her holding the hammer feel more like Odin’s rewritten history than proof she was ever worthy, maybe she was just the executioner who carried it while he did the conquering. Destroying Thor’s weapon wasn’t her proving she didn’t need it. It was her making sure no one else could ever use the thing that once defined Asgard’s power.

Tony Stark’s death is emotional, but I’m starting to think Marvel made it hit harder than it actually made sense.

Tony had already spent years trying to protect the people he loved, and by Endgame he finally had a life he didn’t want to lose.

Then the movie basically asks him to sacrifice all of it anyway.

That’s what makes the scene hurt.

But here’s the controversial part: I don’t think Tony needed to die for his story to feel complete.

He had already changed. He went from a selfish billionaire who only cared about himself to a father who was willing to risk everything for the universe.

His sacrifice was powerful…

but Tony Stark choosing to live after saving everyone could’ve been just as meaningful.

John was talking to her about Hal, but he hadn’t accused her of anything. Yet she was the one who brought up the possibility that she could have killed him and immediately started defending herself.
