I started at @TAMU as a terrified, pregnant freshman and yesterday that same little boy that was in my belly got to put my Aggie gold on my finger. I will never forget this moment, all glory to God 🙌🏼 ✨
Boredom, anger, sadness, or fear are not "yours," not personal. They are conditions of the human mind. They come and go. Nothing that comes and goes is you.
One day you'll realize why your timing was perfect and why things had to happen the way they did. To protect you, to guide you and to redirect you to where you were always meant to be. Trust the process of your path - it's all divine timing.
God,
Thank you for new beginnings. May I go into this week with my eyes fixed on you. Intentional with listening to your voice. May I not take for granted what’s right in front of me trying to work on the next thing. I don’t want to rush your timing. I will remain obedient.
God,
Thank you for making all things new including myself. May I be reminded that I am made in your image & that I am valuable. I don’t have to seek validation from others when I know what’s truth. I am enough through You always. May I never forget it either.
God,
Thank you for giving me the courage to stand tall when I felt like I was being buried. You remind me that my roots are being deepened & that I’m growing beyond what the eyes can see. Thank you for making my foundation strong & for all the lessons learned this year.
God,
You are a healer of all wounds. You’ve turned my past pain into my purpose. Thank you for always being there & never giving up on me. You’ve carried me through some of my darkest moments. You have given me the strength & power to keep going. Can’t even thank you enough.
God,
Everyday you choose to wake me up. You give me breath in my lungs. A purpose to be here. May I always be reminded that no day is promised. May I be intentional. Present. Living in the moment. Fearless of the unknown. Trusting your calling over me. I will not dim my light.
I’m thankful for everything I take for granted daily like the ability to hear music, to smell candles, to see art, to walk, to talk, for the roof over my head & food in my fridge & people who care for me. There’s so much to be thankful for every day. Don’t take it for granted.
I remember going to the corner store with my cousins and stocking up on candy to shove in my aunt’s purse so we could go see this. I will always love this movie 🥺
Start getting into a mindset where you expect something unexpected to happen. Like a sudden shift. An out of the blue miracle. A possibility of an instant breakthrough. Let yourself loosen up about how things will happen. Trust more. Believe more. Be open to receiving.
I still can’t get over that I’m creating another Easton. His tiny kicks, my little belly growing, it all throws me back to being 19 and scared out of my mind. 6 years have passed and only God knew the beautiful gift he was giving me.
