@FavynTube I like this. I really like Infinite’s map Elevator (or Elevation I’m not sure lol), I don’t know if you played it but it has a section with 0 gravity that makes it interesting to play
@Fabulous_Corvid@FavynTube LOL. Chill bro, I’m not saying we must 100% innovate movement. But it’d be great to start suggesting now alternatives to sprint (like the ones Favyn said) in case Activision wanted a faster paced version of Halo, which is very likely btw.
@FavynTube That challenge isn’t for me obviously. It’s for Activision. We were talking about alternatives to sprint so the gameplay feels more dynamic, which I assume is something Activision’d be interested in, as you implied with double sprint. What would you do besides leaving it as is?
@IGN The current narrative is just really messy and hard to put together. I’d say a reboot right after H3 is the best solution. This comes from someone who’s played all campaigns and read most of the books btw
@tilehopper@TechnicalHalo That’s a different story. What I’m surprised about is that Activision was already testing a Halo MP prototype even before CEVO released, so they were already pretty confident in handing Halo to them, whatever the financial outcome of CEVO. I don’t think Asha even trusted CEVO
@TechnicalHalo sure but wouldn’t it be easier having CEVO engine which is basically Reach engine + Unreal on top? Do you think Activision won’t be using BLAM?
@TechnicalHalo That would also explain how Activision was able to test an MP prototype even before CEVO release. How can you possibly test a prototype without the engine?
@TechnicalHalo My theory is that Halo Studios was never going to be the main developer but only a bridge from 343 to Activision, being CEVO a test to see Halo on Unreal for Sledgehammer to take over later. So CEVO2 was never going to be developed
@JezCorden Indeed. In fact @TheForgeFalcons delivered a really close game mode in Infinite - COD Zombie style maps vs Banished. Can’t imagine how hard it’d go with Flood instead. My fav experience in Infinite by far
@saiyan_xk@NexusTeamHQ What’s the point of NOT having more players + more money + more popularity just for the sake of being “exclusive” (not really exclusive since it’s on PC too)??
A toggle for “Maintain sprint” after jumping, shooting, etc for Campaign Evolved would be much appreciated! I can’t tell how many times I cancel my sprint because I clicked on it lol @Unyshek@ske7ch@Halo@HaloSupport
@game_fabricator I still think Zeta Halo is the best location possible given the lore of the place. A linear campaign like CE in Zeta Halo would be amazing
@game_fabricator I always thought that with the current gameplay (let’s say Campaign Evolved’s gameplay), we would ideally get maps like H5’s Truth: classic remakes with a couple of different pathways.
